Physiotherapy:
It can be anything from sport injuries, complaints during work, complaints from an accident or illness, an awkward movement or simply an ageing body.
Some examples include: twisted ankle or knee, meniscus problems, cruciate ligament (‘kruisbanden’) injuries, arthritis, pelvic floor instability, low back pain, muscle strains, joint sprains, pre- & post- operative rehabilitation, neck & shoulder pain, headaches etc..
A physiotherapist advises, treats and guides you back to fitness whether in your sport or daily activities.

Shoulder injuries

Elbow, wrist & hand
Can be trauma related, like a broken finger but can also develop without any known cause.
Together we make a plan returning you to pain free activity and top performance.
Hip pain
Hip pain can involve pain around the hip joint. Pain from the hip can also be felt in the groin, thigh and even low back area.
It is common in athletes (overload) and elderly (arthritis).

Knee, Ankle & Foot
The knee, ankle and foot complex create a relationship with the ground and how we move.
Dysfunction and injuries in knee, ankle and foot complex can further lead to problems further up the kinetic chain in hip and low back.
Common injuries include muscle and tendon overload, stress fractures, shin splints and ankle sprains.
Sport Injuries
Pushing our bodies to the limit makes us vulnerable to injuries.
Sports injuries are either acute or chronic. Acute injuries involve a traumatic moment whereas chronic injuries are caused by repeated overuse of muscles and joints.
Common injuries include bruises, sprains, strains, joint injuries and nose bleeds.
Together we make a plan returning you back to play and top performance.
Neurological

Sport Massage & Soft tissue therapy:
These techniques allow the therapist to manipulate muscles, tendons and ligaments. This can be done to trigger or relax certain tissues in order to return them to their full functionality, reducing pain/discomfort and returning full range of movement.
Wellbeing Massage:
Treat yourself – relax and restore that feeling of wellness. The methods applied here work on the more superficial muscle tissues which allows for a comfortable and pain free experience.
Healing Massage:
The aim is to assist your own healing process. Prolonged periods of stress create tension in your body, make you feel depleted and create blockages in your soft tissue which prevents your body fluids from fully providing adequate oxygen and nutrition to your cells. That is the most dense level, of many.It is not a classical full body massage- here we work only on the most pressing segments of your bodies daily pain experience.
Personal training packages
Working towards a specific fitness goal. Whether losing a few kg’s, getting stronger or faster! By working together assessing and experiencing movement, understanding when to push or when to just move, I aim to educate and guide you to independence in the gym in combination with all of life’s other stressors.
